Hatsumode – La première visite de l’année au sanctuaires
Au début de l’année, les gens visitent les temples bouddhistes et les sanctuaires shinto, afin de prier pour une bonne fortune et une bonne santé pour l’année à venir/ pour la Nouvelle-Année. La première visite annuelle du sanctuaire est appelée Hatsumode. Nombre de sanctuaires à Kyoto, comme Yasaka ou Fushimi Inari Taisha, sont extrêmement fréquenté par les gens, dont la plupart portent la sublime/ magnifique/superbe tenue traditionnelle, le kimono.
Hatsumode – First Shrine Visit of the Year
At the beginning of the year, people visit Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines and pray for good luck and a healthy life in the coming New Year. This first shrine visit of the years is called Hatsumode. A number of shrines in Kyoto, such as Yasaka shrine and Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine, are extremely crowded with people, many wearing gorgeous traditional Kimono.
初詣
1年のはじめに寺社を訪れ、新年の無病息災などを願うことを「初詣」と言います。綺麗な晴れ着で出かける人も多く、八坂神社や伏見稲荷大社など、京都の神社もたくさんの人で賑わいます。
