Geiko et Maiko – Les artistes exclusivement féminines de Kyoto.
Personne n’utilise le terme «Geisha» à Kyoto. Au lieu de cela, Kyoto possède un mot spécial, “Geiko”, utilisé pour décrire une artiste féminine professionnelle. Les jeunes apprenties Geiko sont appelées «Maiko», celles-ci doivent s’efforcer d’acquérir des compétences culturelles et , ainsi que de devenir des adeptes de l’art suprême de divertir leurs invités.
Geiko and Maiko – Female Entertainers Only in Kyoto
No one uses the term, “Geisha” in Kyoto. Instead, Kyoto has a special word, “Geiko” used to describe a professional female entertainer. Younger girls who are the apprentice of Geiko are called “Maiko” and they have to strive to obtain a variety of skills f traditional cultural forms as well as becoming adept at the supreme art of entertaining guests.
芸妓・舞妓今日では、「芸者」という言葉は使いません。「芸妓」と言います。そして、芸妓になる前の若い女の子が、一人前になる前の期間を「舞妓」として過ごし、様々な技芸のお稽古やお客さんをもてなす技を身につけます。
